26.03.2024. Science and inovation day at University of Kragujevac
The Ministry of Science, Technological Development and Innovation of the Republic of Serbia, in collaboration with the Innovation Fund of the Republic of Serbia, Science Fund of the Republic of Serbia, and the Center for the Promotion of Science is organizing Science and Innovation Days in cities across Serbia as part of the “Serbia, Land of Science, Land of Innovation”. project. The aim is to raise awareness about the importance of investing in science, technological development, and innovation, and the potential they hold for our country.
One such event was held on 26.03.2024. at the University of Kragujevac. On behalf of the Ministry of Science, Technological Development, and Innovation, the attendees were greeted by Vladimir Radovanović, Deputy Minister of Science, Technological Development, and Innovation in the Sector for Innovation, Technology Transfer, and Technological Development.
As part of the Science and Innovation Day, support programs of the Innovation Fund of the Republic of Serbia, Science Fund of the Republic of were presented, as well as tax reliefs intended for those engaged in the development of innovations and research.
Present professors, researchers, and students had the opportunity to familiarize themselves with examples of good practice in the field of science and innovation, and to hear more information about the Competition for the Best Technological Innovation.
The Science and Innovation Day provided visitors with comprehensive access to information relevant to the development of their research and business ideas, gave them the opportunity to network with relevant experts, and motivated them to continue to engage in science and research work and to commercialize the results of their work using available resources.
The Science and Innovation Day was also a great opportunity to present PROMINENT project to professors, researchers, and students of the University of Kragujevac.
