28.02.2024. Lecture on Phase field modelling
During the “Days of Mechanics” scientific meeting organized by Serbian society for mechanics and Mathematical institute of SANU (Serbian academy of science and art), One of the lecturers was Prof. Dr. Vladimir Dunić. The topic of his lecture was “Phase-field damage modeling in engineering materials“. The lecture started with a short introduction to theory of the phase field method, the basics of elastic and elasto-plastic model of the phase field for metals, but also covered a model for alloys with the shape memory properties, which include presentation of plans for numerical implementation in PAK-DAM software based on the Finite Element Method, and other activities within the PROMINENT project.
